During this windows, JunOS/software on our routers at Nikhef (NL) and TeleCity (Germany) will be upgraded. This maintenance will not impact our customers.
Two switches in the Redbus Carrierrooms (E1 and F0) will be removed. Customers connected to one of these switches will be moved to a new, allready operationalswitch. Affected customers will receive a separate email with details.
Preparation work is needed for our next maintenance at TeleCity2. In this maintenance, a 10 Gig e blade will be swapped at Gyrocenter and VLANs will be rerouted. This mainenance is also used to install new software on our switches at Tele2/Gyrocenter. This work will cause a brief outage from approx 5 minutes for customers with a single connection.
A switch will be replaced by a new router at TeleCity2. This router will be connected with InterXion and Nikhef and will be part of our ring. This work is needed to upgrade the last part of our ring to 10 gig e. This maintenance is also used to install new software on our router at Easnet and install additional memory in it. Later this month, a 10 gig e connection from this location to London and Germany will be prepared. Most of these maintenance windows won't have an impact on our network and most of our services should be reachable during our work. Individual customers will be notified when their connection or service is affected.
